It feels much safer - I used to have one with a magnet closure but the magnet was weak so the case would just open if I dropped it which was exactly what I was trying to avoid by getting one with a closure. My only small comment would be that it's a little big for my iPhone 6. The snap-in case fits perfectly but it makes my phone the same size as my boyfriend's 6+.
